GOBIND SINGH TANYA PARLIMEN: TOLONG SAHKAN SAMADA DZULKIFLI SPRM DALAM VIDEO SKANDAL BINI ORANG DI BALI? SPRM SIASAT POLIS, POLIS SIASAT SPRM?

KUALA LUMPUR: Gobind Singh Deo (DAP-Puchong) delivered a stinging attack in the Dewan Rakyat today on what he claimed was a lack of action against high-ranking officials involved in crime.

In his tirade, he singled out 1MDB, the Ops Gopi crackdown and a video which alleged a top Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officer of having a tryst with a married woman.

Ops Gopi was the anti-graft crackdown on vice and gambling centres in Melaka that began in May and which saw several police personnel being detained.

During the Budget 2018 debate speech, Gobind asked why there was no action taken in cases that involved high-ranking officers.

“Why is there no action against 1MDB until today? Police say they submitted the investigation papers to the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) on April 12, 2017, and the ex-inspector-general of police had concluded the investigations into 1MDB.

“How long do we need to investigate this case and why is it going back and forth? From the police to the AG (Attorney-General) and then from the AG to the police again? Why can’t we resolve this case? This case is of international interest and there should be a decision.

“On Ops Gopi, what happened to the internal inquiry into the police officers in Melaka who were arrested by the MACC? These officers were said to have been protecting gambling dens. Why is there no action taken?

“The Star newspaper said top cops help to protect gambling dens. The remand was obtained and the suspects remanded for six days. There were also links to Bukit Aman. This was reported in the papers, MACC has taken action, but what has happened after that?

“Who are these top officers in Bukit Aman? Why are there double standards when action is taken so fast against normal folk and you often see their pictures in the orange uniform in the media?

“Is there a cover-up in Ops Gopi because it has links to top cops and was the statement of the ex-IGP taken?” Gobind asked a quiet Dewan Rakyat.

He continued to ask why there was silence on the video that allegedly involved MACC chief Dzulkifli Ahmad.

“We are members of Parliament and we formed the MACC Act. We want those who are credible, have integrity and are capable to lead the agency.

“Is there a cover-up when MACC investigates police and then the police investigate MACC? What is going on?

“The IGP is silent on the matter, the AG is silent and MACC is silent and doesn’t want to answer if he (MACC chief) is the one in the video.

“Are other cases are suspended in MACC because of this video? Are there other videos? We need answers, is this not a serious case? Why are the police dragging their feet?

“What is happening to Malaysia?” he asked.

Gobind brought up another case that involved a deputy minister who was shown on CCTV recordings of a gang-related attack at the office of the Tamil Malar Daily.

“The sports deputy minister was seen joining a group believed to be from MIC. They raided this media office, where punches were thrown and even a lady was attacked.

“But until today no action has been taken against the deputy minister who is the Tapah MP. Why no action? He should give a personal explanation to Parliament on his actions. What is BN doing when their deputy ministers are going around behaving like this, what do I tell people when I meet them?”

He said the new Inspector-General of Police Mohamad Fuzi Harun had clearly failed his new test.

“This IGP has been shown to be the weakest. He is completely incapable of doing anything. He must now prove himself and we want to see him work. Explain why action has not been taken?”

G Manivannan (PKR-Kapar) stood up and said he found Gobind’s statement about the police investigating MACC and MACC investigating the police, as intriguing.

“Does this mean the police are compromising with MACC and vice-versa on their cases?”

This prompted Gobind to say that he had brought up these points as an MP to make sure the country’s institutions had integrity.

“The people look at these big cases and then ask what happens to these big cases that involve the police. People will lose confidence in the system. We have to be strict and make sure the heads of these departments are capable of doing their job.

“What happens to the low-ranking officers that are the ones that actually do the job in these departments? They go out and do their jobs and then no action is taken, what happens to their morale?

“If these officers don’t toe the line, they are transferred, demoted or even asked to resign. When they see the law applies to them but not to their superiors, how do you expect them to have the morale to carry on?”

INGIN BERTANYA KEPADA KHAIRY JAMALUDDIN: SIAPA TUANPUNYA MEMORIES ENTERTAINMENT?

Image result for khairy+sea games closing

Berikutan kenyataan Zainal, seorang lagi artis, Adibah Noor,"tweet" berikut:

Image may contain: text

Bayarannya bukan besar pun.

Mungkin saya silap. Mungkin ianya satu kebetulan. Nama mungkin serupa.

Maaf Brig Jen Khairy. Saya cuma bertanya.

Elok Brig Jen KJ tampil jelaskan siapa Memories Entertainment ini.

Bukan apa, mungkin ramai yang hendak tahu. Lebih baik beri penjelasan sekarang.

Harap-harap isu ini tak meletup di Parlimen. Tahu-tahu sajalah pembangkang. Suka menangguk di air keruh.

BELANJAWAN TAK LEBIH DARI HANYA ACARA TAHUNAN

Image result for bajet 2018

Jelapang masih ingat Belanjawan 2015.

UMNO SABAH SEDIH & MARAH SHAFIE APDAL DIPERLAKUKAN SEDEMIKIAN RUPA

Kita ingat orang Umno Sabah tak kisah Shafie masuk lokap.

Kata mereka, tanya orang Sabah, ceruk kampung mana Shafie tak masuk selama 6 tahun 3 bulan 19 hari Shafie menjadi Kemajuan Luar Bandar dan Wilayah.

Senang kami buat keputusan. Kami kasihan tengok Shafie"

Dulu ada kes jumpa jokong emas, duit cash bertan-tan, tak ada pula apa-apa tindakan.

Shafie, kata mereka, yang banyak tolong kami, begini dibuatnya.

Jelapang hanya mampu mendengar rintihan (kemarahan) mereka.

https://www.defensenews.com/naval/2017/08/23/7th-fleet-commander-sacked-days-after-second-deadly-collision/

WASHINGTON – The head of U.S. Navy forces in the Pacific fired the three-star commander of the Japan-based 7th Fleet Wednesday, two days after the second deadly collision between a U.S. destroyer and a commercial tanker in as many months.

Adm. Scott Swift relieved Vice Adm. Joseph Aucoin after a rash of accidents have raised fundamental questions about the ships in 7th Fleet, including whether they are able to safely execute even the most basic functions expected of naval warships based in one of the most congested and volatile regions on earth.

“Adm. Scott Swift, commander of U.S. Pacific Fleet, today relieved the commander of Seventh Fleet, Vice Adm. Joseph Aucoin, due to a loss of confidence in his ability to command,” a release posted on PACFLT‘s website said.

The Navy’s top officer said safety must be the priority of the incoming commander, in a statement to Defense News.

“I support Adm. Swift‘s decision to bring in new leadership to 7th Fleet,” said Adm. John Richardson, chief of naval operations. ”The new Seventh Fleet commander must help move his team forward, focusing on safe and effective operations.”

Aucoin was slated to turn over 7th Fleet in September with Rear Adm. Philip Sawyer, a career submariner who will now take charge of a fleet under intense scrutiny from the highest levels in the Navy.

PERIHAL KETUA SPRM SKANDAL BINI ORANG, AZEEZ RAHIM KAYA MELAMPAU, RPK LEMPAR TUDUHAN LIAR KEPADA PEGUAM NEGARA & PERANG SAUDARA DALAM KEM NAJIB RAZAK

Image result for skandal sprm

NEGARA dilanda perang saudara?

4. Raja Petra menDAKWA Apandi mungkin Peguam Negara paling korup dalam sejarah Peguam Negara.

5. Raja Petra menerusi artikel beliau menDAKWA Apandi mengugut seorang gangster Cina.

6. Raja Petra mendakwa Azeez Rahim memberi bantuan kewangan kepada portal Malaysian Insight kepunyaan adik ipar Apandi.

7. Malaysian Insight melaporkan Apanda BERANG dan akan menyaman Raja Petra.

8. Di dalam artikel kedua, Raja Petra mendakwa Azeez merata memberitahu ramai orang bahawa Peguam Negara "boy" beliau.

9. Raja Petra menDAKWA Azeez juga memberitahu ramai bahawa beliau sedang me"LATIH" Apandi untuk jawatan Pengerusi Tabung Haji apabila pencen nanti.

Azeez Rahim terlebih KAYA? Semua orang tahu.

Kita jangan mengharap sangat. Kadang-kadang ia hanya GEMPAQ.

Sehinggakan dah jadi satu sindiran, "kita tunggu dia saman SELASA ini."

Strong Rumours Surrounding The AG: Part 1
 Last updated Oct 20, 2017

Three senior judges went to meet Najib at his residence and advised him to remove Gani Patail because the government cannot afford to have an AG who abuses his position to promote his personal agenda and that of the ANC. Najib asked the three judges if he removes Gani then who should be appointed as his replacement and they suggested Apandi Ali. Azeez Rahim, who was privy to this information, then rushed over to meet Apandi and informed him that Gani was going to be removed as the AG and that three people are being considered for the job — Shafee Abdullah being one of them and the top contender for the job. Azeez then told Apandi he will help him lobby for the job and will make sure he gets it.

THE CORRIDORS OF POWER

Raja Petra Kamarudin

When the then Attorney General, Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail, set up the Special Task Force in July 2015 — comprising of himself, the then Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia, Tan Sri Zeti Akhtar Aziz, the then Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar, and the then Chief Commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed — it was done without Cabinet approval. A Special Task Force requires Cabinet approval or else it would be deemed illegal.

The purpose of this Special Task Force was to initiate an investigation into Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak regarding the allegation that Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad made — which was Najib had ‘stolen’ RM42 billion of 1MDB’s money and that the RM42 billion had ‘disappeared into thin air’. Their aim was basically to enable the ANC (Anti-Najib Campaign) to topple Najib in the Cabinet Meeting scheduled for later that month on 29th July 2015 by using the 1MDB issue as the leverage to get Najib to resign or else face arrest.

AG Gani Patail, plotted a failed coup in July 2015 and took a hard fall

Whether a case exists or can be built against Najib was not material. What they wanted was Najib’s resignation and even if they do not proceed with a case after that it does not matter. The objective of forcing Najib’s resignation would be achieved anyway.

Three senior judges — Tun Arifin Zakaria, the then Chief Justice, Tan Sri Md Raus Sharif, the then President of the Court of Appeal, and Tan Sri Zulkefli Ahmad Makinudin, the Chief Judge of Malaya — went to meet Najib at his residence and advised him to remove Gani because the government cannot afford to have an AG who abuses his position to promote his personal agenda and that of the ANC.

Najib asked the three judges if he removed Gani then who should be appointed as his replacement and they suggested Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali.

Azeez Rahim, running a scam with the AG, Apandi Ali

Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim, the Chairman of Lembaga Tabung Haji, who was privy to this information, then rushed over to meet Apandi and informed him that Gani was going to be removed as the AG and that three people are being considered for the job — Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Muhamad Abdullah being one of them and the top contender for the job. Azeez then told Apandi he will help him lobby for the job and will make sure he gets it.

Actually, based on the recommendation of the three judges, Apandi was the sole contender and Shafee was not in the running at all, let alone the top contender. But Azeez needed to make it appear like it was a tight race and that Shafee was in the lead to give an impression that it was going to be a tough assignment for Azeez to lobby for Apandi and if he succeeds it is going to be almost like a miracle. The truth is Shafee was Najib’s personal legal adviser and there was no way he was going to let Shafee go.

Azeez wanted Apandi to feel that he is very crucial to the whole thing and without his help Apandi would not get the job. Azeez wanted to curry favour with Apandi because if he can control the AG then he can make a lot of money in influence-peddling when people want to make deals to settle cases. Both those in the underworld and the corporate world would pay a lot of money to ‘settle’ legal cases and some of these cases cost as high as millions, as many in the legal profession can tell you.

Apandi Ali, may yet prove to be the most corrupted AG in Malaysian history

One example involved a Chinese businessman who was a business partner of D.Y.M.M Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, the Sultan of Johor. Apandi demanded RM4 million from him on a case he had won and when he did not pay they sent Chinese gangsters to his house to threaten that they would kidnap his son if he refused to pay the RM4 million.

Fearing for his life the Chinese businessman went to see the Sultan and asked Tuanku what to do and whether he should pay. The Sultan was furious and immediately phoned Apandi, who happened to be in London at that time and fast asleep. The Sultan gave Apandi the dressing-down of his life and was flabbergasted when Apandi replied that since the Chinese chap had won his case then he needs to ‘pay something’.

The Sultan replied that Apandi was a judge (when the case took place) so what business does he have asking for money to win cases? The Sultan then complained to Najib, who was also furious about the incident. Apandi eventually called off the gangsters but the poor Chinese businessman was so disturbed that he ended up in hospital after almost collapsing from a heart attack.

DYMM Sultan Johor was furious when Apandi tried to extort RM4 million from his business partner and sent gangsters to threaten to kidnap his son

Azeez keeps Apandi on a leash by telling him that Shafee still wants his job and is trying to lobby for it. This keeps Apandi in constant paranoia and with Azeez ‘watching his back’ this makes him indebted to Azeez. His strategy is basically to create fear and make Apandi feel insecure and in danger of losing his job. Azeez needs to build a perception of an enemy at the gates and that this so-called enemy is Shafee. Azeez then offers himself as Apandi’s ‘lord and protector’ who will ensure that Apandi does not lose his job. What Azeez kept from Apandi is that his job is actually secure for at least three or four years.

Of course, all this is not true but then Apandi now hates Shafee and will run down and bad mouth Shafee while any one who is seen as close to Shafee will be excommunicated. Apandi even tells Shafee’s clients that if they retain him as their lawyer they are going to lose their case.

Azeez rewards Apandi certain ‘goodies’ for all the deals they do, which is transferred to London through a certain moneychanger in Kuala Lumpur. That is the reason why Apandi makes frequent trips to London — so that he can count his goodies. We know the identity of this moneychanger and would be willing to cooperate with the MACC to reveal this information if a proper request is made.

To further their cause, Apandi’s brother-in-law, Jahabar Sadiq, uses The Malaysian Insight (TMI) as their spinning machine. DAP is the main funder of TMI while Azeez is the co-sponsor. TMI is presented as an ‘opposition’ portal while in reality it is used as a Trojan Horse by Umno insiders such as Azeez to attack their enemies within Umno and Barisan Nasional. Anyway, we will talk more about TMI in the next episode.

Strong Rumours Surrounding The AG: Part 2
By MT Webmaster Last updated Oct 22, 2017

Is this true? Did Azeez appoint Apandi as a Board member of Tabung Haji? And is he grooming Apandi to eventually take over as Tabung Haji’s Chairman? In that case Apandi is definitely Azeez’s ‘boy’, as Azeez says. And what services did Apandi do for Azeez that he is being rewarded for? Is Apandi helping Azeez avoid prosecution? And what cases are those? Do they involve corruption?

THE CORRIDORS OF POWER

Raja Petra Kamarudin

Today, The Malaysian Insight said ‘Angry AG to sue Raja Petra for spreading fake news’.

The Malaysian Insight is owned by Attorney-General Mohamed Apandi Ali’s brother-in-law and is being financed by DAP and and co-sponsored by Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim, the multi-millionaire Chairman of Tabung Haji.

Notice that they used the term ‘fake news’? Why use the term ‘fake news’? When Sarawak Report comes out with their stories it is called ‘whistle-blowing’. In fact, they even refer toSarawak Report as a ‘whistle-blowing website’. The same with all the other pro-Pakatan sites such as The Malaysian Insight, Malaysiakini, Malaysia Chronicle, etc. They are said to be doing ‘whistle-blowing’. So why when Malaysia Today comes out with exposes and revelations it is not called ‘whistle-blowing’ but is called ‘fake news’?

How did Azeez becomes a multi-millionaire and where did all his money come from?

Anyway, if Apandi feels that the article which Malaysia Today wrote, Strong rumours surrounding the AG: part 1 (READ HERE), is fake news, which part is fake? Many things were said in that article so Apandi needs to clarify which part is fake if he thinks it is fake.

If Apandi prefers to sue rather than clarify let it be so. In that case we will have to reveal more things, many which we have documents to prove. For example, what is he going to say if certain documents surface that prove a serious conflict of interest bordering on downright abuse of power?

Then there is the issue of Muhammad Shafee Muhamad Abdullah who Apandi has been running down and bad mouthing. Apandi even told a number of Shafee’s clients if they continue appointing him as their lawyer then they are going to lose their case. If Apandi wants to go to court then all these people will have the opportunity to testify and prove that Malaysia Todaydid not come out with ‘fake news’? So that suits us just fine.

It is Azeez who is going around telling everyone that ‘the AG is my boy’. What does Azeez mean by ‘the AG is my boy’? Apandi is on the board of Tabung Haji and Azeez is telling everyone that he put Apandi there because he is grooming Apandi to take over as Chairman once he retires as the AG ‘as a reward for his services’.

Azeez said Apandi is his ‘boy’ and is being groomed as the next Tabung Haji Chairman

All these ‘dark secrets’ regarding Apandi come from Azeez. Azeez has many corruption cases that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is looking into and he is very scared. Azeez knows MACC’s chief commissioner, Dzulkifli Ahmad, cannot be bought. That is why Apandi announced they are setting up a special task force to investigate the extra-martial affair allegation against Dzulkifli, at the behest of Azeez.

Being the AG, Apandi knows he cannot set up a special task force without Cabinet approval. If not it will be an illegal task force. Azeez, however, assured Apandi that he will make sure the Cabinet approves this task force. But that did not happen so Azeez told Apandi to proceed with the task force without the Cabinet’s approval.

But then the AG just prosecutes and not investigates crimes. Investigation is the realm of the police. If Apandi proceeds with the special task force without Cabinet approval, and takes over from the police the task of investigating, then it can only be because he is Azeez’s stooge. So what fake news are they talking about? The proof of the pudding, as they say, is in the eating.

Why does Azeez want to get rid of Dzulkifli and is using Apandi and the illegal special task force to do that?

Why does Apandi not also arrest and charge Muhyiddin Yassin under that same law since his affair with Nika Gee has been proven and does not need to be investigated further? And Muhyiddin committed those crimes from the time he was the Johor Menteri Besar till the time he was Malaysia’s Deputy Prime Minister.

This is the first time in history the Attorney-General wants to set up a special task force (and without Cabinet approval on top of that) to investigate someone alleged to be having an affair. The truth is Azeez wants to get rid of Dzulkifli because he is worried he might end up in jail and he is using Apandi to do that. So this sort of confirms that Apandi is Azeez’s boy and Azeez can tell him to jump and his only response will be ‘how high, sir?’.

Apandi does not realise (or does he?) that Azeez is extremely toxic and he poisons all those he comes into contact with like a carcass in a drinking well. It is Azeez who is telling everyone that he helped Apandi become the Attorney-General. It is Azeez who is telling everyone that he controls the Attorney-General and that Apandi is his boy. It is Azeez who is collecting millions from various people to help ‘settle’ their cases because, according to him, he can tell the AG what to do. It is Azeez who is telling everyone he is financing The Malaysian Insight at the behest of Apandi.

Azeez wants everyone to believe he is super-rich because he kisses Rosmah Mansor’s hand whereas the truth is he has a cash cow or money printing machine named Apandi Ali

Azeez is super-rich — every single Malaysian is aware of that — but no one knows where all his money came from. It looks like, as Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is fond of saying, the money appeared from thin air. Shafie Apdal is also super-rich but now every Malaysian knows where his money came from. And we know because MACC revealed the truth about Shafie. MACC has not yet revealed the truth about Azeez’s wealth and this is why he is trying to oust Dzulkifli — so that MACC never reveals the truth about his wealth.

Most people assume that Azeez is super-rich because of his relationship with Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak. But that is what Azeez wants everyone to believe. The truth is Azeez is super-rich because of his relationship with the AG. Apandi is his cash cow. It is like Azeez owns a money printing machine named Apandi. Azeez is selling Apandi’s name left, right and centre and is collecting millions for that. That is why Azeez needs to control the AG. Apandi is worth his weight in gold as far as Azeez is concerned.

If Apandi denies he was recommended to the job of Attorney-General by the three senior judges (Tun Arifin Zakaria, the then Chief Justice, Tan Sri Md Raus Sharif, the then President of the Court of Appeal, and Tan Sri Zulkefli Ahmad Makinudin, the Chief Judge of Malaya), is he then saying Azeez helped him get that job? It has to be one or the other. Either the three senior judges helped Apandi become AG or Azeez did. Can Apandi answer this simple question? Or does he want to explain in court?

So which is it? Did Azeez help Apandi become the Attorney-General or was he recommend to that job by Tun Arifin Zakaria, Tan Sri Md Raus Sharif, and Tan Sri Zulkefli Ahmad Makinudin? And is Azeez grooming Apandi to take over as the new Tabung Haji chairman once he retires as the AG? And why is Apandi doing Azeez’s bidding by setting up an illegal special task force without Cabinet approval to investigate Dzulkifli? And should not the police instead of the AG be doing investigating work? Can Apandi explain all this or does he prefer to go to court to explain it?

– 23 Oktober, 2017.

Sebar berita palsu, peguam negara bakal saman Raja Petra

Peguam Negara Mohamed Apandi Ali menyangkal kandungan artikel bertajuk 'Strong Rumours Surrounding the AG: Part 1' yang ditulis di kolum Raja Petra - The Corridors of Power, dan menafikan dakwaan dalam artikel tersebut termasuk dakwaan rasuah. – Gambar fail The Malaysian Insight, 22 Oktober, 2017.

– 22 Oktober, 2017.

JIKA HENDAK SELAMATKAN KP SPRM, JANGANLAH SAMPAI MENFITNAH ORANG LAIN

SETAKAT hari ini sudah empat EPISOD video diterbitkan mengenai dakwaan skandal Ketua Pesuruhjaya SPRM Dzulkifli Ahmad dengan isteri seorang pegawai polis.

Bermacam cara digunakan untuk menyelamatkan Dzulkifli.

Kononnya gambar-gambar beliau bercanda di EDIT. Kononnya ini fitnah pembangkang. Kononnya ini kerja kongsi gelap.
Image result for shazreen hatta sprm
Si isteri orang pula menjawab menerusi FB: "Dalam hidup saya, terlalu byk dugaan yg Allah beri dan tiada satu pun jua yg saya persoalan...

Ingatlah, kubur makin hampir.

Tak perlulah sampai hendak memfitnahkan orang lain semata-mata hendak selamatkan Dzulkifli.

Kemudian buat laporan polis.

Jika rajin, LAYARILAH BLOG INI:  http://kpsprm.blogspot.my/

ORANG UMNO SABAH GELISAH KES SPRM SIASAT SHAFIE APDAL

Image result for sprm kklw ditahan

Bukan kah Shafie Menteri Umno?

Arwah JJ (Jamaluddin Jarjis) start dulu. Jaga bahagian dan ketua-ketua bahagian.

Sekarang ini SPRM siasat siapa? Siasat Menteri Umno tolong orang Umno?

Kalau cara Shafie tolong kita ini salah, maka apa yang Menteri lain buat pun rasuah lah.

Cuba lah fikir sikit.

Orang biasa, pegawai kerajaan ditahannya berhari-hari.

Senang orang Umno Sabah nak buat KEPUTUSAN. Nak tahan, tahan. Jangan SPRM pilih bulu.

Menantu adik Shafie, tahan. Pegawai Khas tahan. Tapi orang besar, tanya diam-diam.

JELAPANG: Itu pandangan orang Sabah.

Image result for kklw sprm

Adik Shafie, Hamid, ditangkap malam tadi. Pegawai Khas Salleh Said Keruak turut ditangkap serta beberapa orang lagi.

Sekadar ingin tahu.

RUJUKAN

PANAS…

– Agensi/Mynewshub.cc/HAA

Adik Shafie Apdal ditahan SPRM

Zam Yusa | October 10, 2017

Timbalan Ketua Pesuruhjaya (Operasi) SPRM Datuk Azam Baki mengesahkan tangkapan tetapi enggan mengulas lanjut.

BANK DUNIA: GELEMBUNG HUTANG NEGARA BAKAL "MELETUP"?

Image result for malaysia+bank dunia+merudum

Satu perkara yang agak membimbangkan apabila laporan tersebut menggunakan AYAT "Malaysia's debt bubble is about to explode".

Jangan asyik bercakap ikut cuaca. Setiap masa bercakap ekonomi berkembang tetapi apabila ditanya kenapa negara berhenti menjadi hos Formula 1, Najib Razak beri sebab ekonomi teruk.

Latest World Bank report bad news for BN

THE latest World Bank report shows that Malaysia’s economy is growing weaker.

Out of the 15 Asian economies analysed in the report, Malaysia and a few others are the only ones expected to worsen.

The World Bank forecasts that under current conditions, in 2018, Malaysia’s growth rate will lower to 5% and in 2019, decrease further to 4.8%.

There is less than three months to go until 2018.

As the new World Bank report describes Malaysia’s economy: “The main risks to growth arise from the policy uncertainty in the major economies, geopolitical developments and commodity price volatility.”

While most Asian economies are rising, Malaysia’s is in decline, because it has not adapted to both global and domestic economic conditions.

The report also singles out Malaysia as one of only two Asian economies where household debt “exceeds 70% of GDP”. Many economists have concluded that Malaysia’s debt bubble is about to explode.

As others have correctly noted, the gross domestic product numbers and global economic rankings with which Najib is obsessed haven’t benefited Malaysians.

As the World Bank country manager for Malaysia Farid Hadad-Zervos recently warned: “This is the fundamental question: what does GDP really mean in the daily life of Malaysians?”

During his failed US visit, Najib said Malaysia’s 5.2% growth is “the envy of advanced economies”. To which everyone should immediately respond: “Iraq had 11% growth, Bangladesh had 7.1% growth and Ethiopia had 7.6% growth last year – should they be the envy of the advanced economies, too?”

Instead, Malaysia is falling behind its Asian neighbours.

As Bloomberg reported last month, Indonesians and Thais are the world’s top 10 populations where the highest numbers of millionaires are being created, increasing by 13.7% and 12.7% respectively.

Unlike its Asian neighbours, Malaysia still has not entered either the G20 or the trillion-dollar GDP club (Barisan Nasional’s latest target is a trillion ringgit).

According to the United Nations, the Malaysian youth unemployment rate has skyrocketed to 12.1% and rising – approximately quadruple the national unemployment rate. A recent Bank Negara survey showed that three out of four Malaysians find it difficult to raise even RM1,000 in an emergency.

Najib is notorious for falsifying economic data in his speeches, selectively quoting reports, omitting bad economic news, and twisting the complete economic portrait of Malaysia, because he is politically unstable.

In the recent best-seller The Rise and Fall of Nations, the author describes a particularly hilarious but disturbing story about Najib’s inability to understand the Malaysian economy:

“On a visit to New York in October 2015, one of my colleagues asked (Najib) whether the collapse of the value of the ringgit is offering any boost to the nation’s embattled manufacturing sector. He answered by missing the point, saying the cheap ringgit is great for tourism, which can be an important contributor to growth in a country as large as Malaysia. Pressed on the manufacturing question, Najib seemed at a loss. An aide in the back of the room pitched in to help, but spoke about investing in oil and other raw materials. The crowd left with the impression that Malaysia is missing an opportunity, because the cheap currency coupled with the right reforms could supercharge Malaysian manufacturing.”

All Malaysians should read the new World Bank report to draw their own conclusions about whether Barisan Nasional is missing additional opportunities for growth – or whether it’s more focused on protecting the elite few. – October 9, 2017.

LAPORAN BANK DUNIA

Growth Prospects for 2017 and 2018 remain positive for developing East Asia and the Pacific Improved global growth prospects and continued strong domestic demand underpin a positive outlook for the developing economies of East Asia and the Pacific, says the October 2017 edition of the East Asia and Pacific Economic Update.

Stronger growth in advanced economies, a moderate recovery in commodity prices, and a strengthening of global trade growth, are the favorable external factors that will support the economies of developing East Asia and Pacific to expand by 6.4 percent for 2017. Growth in the region is expected to slow slightly to 6.2 percent in 2018 primarily reflecting China’s gradual slowdown.

The uptick in growth in 2017 relative to earlier expectations reflects stronger than expected growth in China, at 6.7 percent, the same pace as in 2016.
In the rest of the region, including the large Southeast Asian economies, growth in 2017 will be slightly faster at 5.1 percent in 2017 and 5.2 percent in 2018, up from 4.9 percent in 2016.

Several external and domestic risks could impact this positive outlook.
Uncertainty remains about economic policies in some advanced economies, and escalating geopolitical tensions could have adverse economic impacts. Monetary policies in the U.S. and the Euro Area could be tightened more quickly than expected.

Many countries in the region also have vulnerabilities in their financial sectors with high levels of private sector debt or deteriorating asset quality. In several countries fiscal deficits remain high or are on the rise.

Larger economies faring well, mixed outlook for smaller countries
China’s gradual rebalancing away from investment and towards domestic consumption is expected to continue, with growth projected to slow to around 6.4 percent in 2018-19.

Thailand and Malaysia are expected to grow more rapidly than expected, due to the stronger exports, including tourism, for the former, and increased investment in the latter.

Gains in real wages are fueling strong consumption in Indonesia, and a rebound in agriculture and manufacturing is boosting growth in Vietnam.
In the Philippines, the economy is projected to expand at a slightly slower pace than in 2016, partly due to slower than expected implementation of public investment projects.

The outlook for smaller countries is mixed.
Mongolia and Fiji are expected to fare better in 2017-2018. Mongolia’s macroeconomic stabilization program is encouraging new foreign direct investment in mining and transport. Fiji’s growth will be supported by reconstruction from Cyclone Winston.

Growth in Cambodia and Lao PDR is moderating compared to 2016, but its pace remains higher than other countries in the region; the power sector in Lao PDR and trade and FDI in Cambodia are the main economic drivers.
Expanding tourism, low world commodity prices, high levels of revenue from fishing fees, and rising construction activity are supporting moderate GDP growth rates in most of the small Pacific Island Countries. In the longer term, reforms in tourism, labor mobility, fisheries, and the knowledge economy have the potential to lead to significantly higher incomes, employment, and government revenue.

Robust growth will mean that poverty is expected to continue falling across the region. By 2019, it is projected that that there will be about a third fewer people living in extreme poverty while the number of those in moderate poverty will fall by about a fifth.

Priorities for Reforms
Reducing financial sector and fiscal risks while strengthening competitiveness, including through deeper regional integration, remain priorities.

A move away from measures aimed at short-term growth towards policies that address financial sector and fiscal vulnerabilities would boost the region’s resilience.

These measures include: strengthening supervision and prudential regulation in countries experiencing rapid growth in private-sector credit and debt; reforming tax policies and administration to help boost revenue collection; and being ready to tighten monetary policy if warranted by the pace of interest rate increases in advanced economies.

Structural reform priorities differ across countries. Sustained reforms of state-owned enterprise sectors in China and Vietnam can improve growth prospects.
The Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia and Lao PDR will benefit from continued improvements in public investment management systems to support their expanding public infrastructure programs.

In Indonesia, liberalizing the regulations for foreign investment remains important.

The report also highlights the potential benefits from the well-managed expansion of tourism can offer to the region, including for the Pacific Island Countries. This will require closer collaboration between governments and the private sector to address any adverse environmental and social impacts while enhancing the economic gains.

Deepening regional integration can help offset the risks of protectionism. The ASEAN Economic Community offers one avenue for doing so, including by further liberalizing trade in services and reducing non-tariff barriers.

High and rising inequality is a growing concern across the region, as are falling mobility and growing economic insecurity. To address these challenges, measures to reduce extreme poverty must be accompanied by policies that broaden access to quality services and more productive jobs, and stronger social protection systems that reduce the consequences of adverse shocks.

MANIFESTO PRU-13: SUDAH TERTUNAI KAH JANJI NAJIB 5 TAHUN LALU?

Image result for manifesto bn 2013

Jika terlupa, lihat kembali manifesto BN semasa PRU-13 dulu.

1. Bertambahkah Kedai Rakyat 1Malaysia atau sudah gulung tikar?

2. Apakah bantuan persekolahan sudah dinaikkan kepada RM150?

3. Bertambah murahkah kereta di Malaysia?

Image result for manifesto bn 2013

4. Berapa kilometer Lebuhraya Pan Borneo telah disiapkan?
